    POLICE DEPARTMENT: Proposed amendment to Chapter 120 to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Arnolds Park, 2004, which adds a new section 120.06 Regulations of persons under legal age. A lengthy discussion following the reading of the proposed amendment to the ordinance regarding regulations of persons under legal age. Motion to hold a second reading for the proposed amendment regarding regulations of persons under legal age. Koppert/Watters. Ayes; five. Nays; none. Motion to hold a public hearing September 14, 2005 at 6:00 P.M., regarding regulations of persons under legal age. Jensen/Christensen. Ayes; three. Nays; two (Koppert/Watters).

    IOWA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION: Transfer of Jurisdiction ­ Parcel 95. Motion approving the transfer of jurisdiction- Parcel 95 to the City of Arnolds Park. Munsen/Christensen. Ayes; five. Nays; none.

    ELECTRIC RATE CASE: Motion to continue participation with Latham and Associates, regarding the electric rate case. Watters/Munsen. Ayes; five. Nays; none.

    ZEPHYR DRIVE PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS: RESOLUTION NO. 44-05 APPROVING PAY ESTIMATE NO. 3 FOR THE ZEPHYR DRIVE PARKING LOT IMPROVEMENTS IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,814.50 TO ROHLIN CONSTRUCTION PER THE RECOMMENDATION BY JACOBSON-WESTERGARD & ASSOCIATES, INC. Introduced by Munsen. Seconded by Jensen. The roll was called and the vote was: AYES: Munsen, Jensen, Watters, Christensen. NAYS: Koppert.

    OPEN HOUSE: Need to re-schedule the date of the open house due to not having it published in the newspaper. Motion to re-schedule the open house to September 1, 2005 at 3:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. This will be a special council meeting. Munsen/Watters. Ayes; five. Nays; none.

    Motion to amend the agenda. Munsen/Watters. Ayes; five. Nays; none.

    Motion approving the closure of Lake Street for the Iowa Rock and Roll Reunion September 2, 2005 from 6:00 P.M. until 11:00 P.M. Also closing the street on September 4, 2005, for only forty-five minutes from 11:15 A.M. until noon. Munsen/Christensen. Ayes; five. Nays; none.
